Frequently Asked Questions

I offer competitive pricing for my massage services. My rates are as follows:

  • 30 mins - $55
  • 45  mins - $70
  • 60 mins - $80
  • 75 mins - $100
  • 90 mins - $120
  • 105 mins - $140

All sessions include complimentary aromatherapy. Massages lasting 60 minutes or longer also include a warm towel foot wrap and a soothing facial massage. 


Never! Your scheduled time is reserved entirely for hands-on work. I want you to feel relaxed from start to finish, so there’s no need to rush getting on or off the table. That said, I may have someone scheduled after you, so I appreciate your mindfulness—but you’ll never be hurried.


 

I believe massage is about more than just muscle work—it’s about creating a full experience of relaxation, recovery, and well-being. Aromatherapy is included with every session to help calm the mind and enhance your sense of calm through soothing scents.

Warm towel foot wraps and a gentle facial massage are included with sessions lasting 60 minutes or longer. These extras require additional time and care, so I’m only able to offer them during longer sessions—but I truly enjoy providing them whenever possible. Many other massage locations charge extra for these services, but here they’re part of your session because I want to deliver exceptional value and a more nurturing experience.

Including these extras is part of my commitment to delivering a well-rounded, thoughtful experience that supports your body and mind from start to finish.


 

Absolutely! These make great gifts for friends, family, or coworkers who could use a little relaxation and self-care. The gift certificates are digital, transferable one time, and valid for two years.

From time to time, I offer seasonal bonuses or limited-time extras—keep an eye on Instagram or my Google business profile so you don’t miss out. Please note that gift cards are not eligible for discounts.



Yes, I do. When you refer a new client who books and completes a table massage, you'll receive 10 bonus minutes added to your next session as a thank-you for spreading the word! 


 

Mobile massage services are available for established clients at my discretion. They must be within a 10-mile radius of Shrewsbury. Rates reflect the travel, extra time, setup, and breakdown involved. Tips are kindly declined for mobile massage, as everything is already built into the rate.

Mobile Massage Rates
60 minutes – $160
80 minutes – $190

Space Requirements
You must provide a clean, quiet, and safe space of at least 10x8 feet to allow for proper table setup and therapist movement. Please ensure the area is free of clutter and distractions before your scheduled time.

Setup Time
Please allow 15 minutes before and after your session for setup and breakdown. Your massage time begins once the session officially starts—not during setup.

Parking
Free, accessible parking must be available close to your location. If parking is unavailable or requires payment, that must be communicated in advance and may result in additional fees or cancellation.

Pets
For everyone’s safety and comfort, pets must be secured in a separate room during the visit. Even well-behaved animals can be unpredictable around new equipment and unfamiliar scents.

Deposits
A 50% deposit is required to confirm all mobile massage appointments.

Cancellations
Mobile massage appointments are subject to the standard cancellation policy: Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice will be charged at the full session rate. No-shows or missed appointments will also be charged in full. This policy helps me manage my schedule and offer openings to other clients. Thank you for understanding.


During your initial visit, I’ll ask about your medical history and any specific areas you’d like me to focus on. Then, I’ll step out of the room to give you privacy while you undress to your comfort level and get settled on the massage table. I’ll use a sheet to keep you covered, uncovering only the area I’m actively working on.


In accordance with Missouri law, appropriate draping is required at all times during your massage. This helps ensure your privacy, comfort, and safety throughout the session. If anything feels uncomfortable at any point, please let me know so I can make adjustments.


How often you get a massage depends on what you’re dealing with and what feels best for you. Some people find weekly sessions helpful, while others feel their best with one every month or two. We’ll figure out a rhythm that supports your goals and fits comfortably into your life.


 

Yes, there are certain health conditions or situations where massage may not be safe or appropriate. These can include—but aren’t limited to—contagious illnesses, skin infections or rashes, recent surgeries or injuries, blood clots (DVT), uncontrolled high blood pressure, certain heart conditions, fever over 100°F, and acute inflammation.


If you have any medical concerns or are unsure whether massage is right for you, please let me know before your appointment. I may ask for a doctor’s clearance in some cases to ensure your safety and the best possible care.


If you’re experiencing a contagious illness, have a fever over 100°F, or are otherwise feeling unwell, please reschedule your appointment. Massage can worsen symptoms, delay recovery, and put others at risk. Please notify me as soon as possible so we can find a better time for your session. 


 At Lynn Does Massage LLC, your appointment time is reserved just for you. As a solo practitioner, every session matters—for your care and for keeping the schedule fair for all clients. Please review the following policies before booking.

Privacy Policy

I respect your privacy and am committed to protecting your personal information.

Information I Collect
When you book an appointment or contact me, I may collect your name, phone number, email address, and relevant health information needed to provide safe and effective massage therapy services.

How I Use Your Information
I use your information only for scheduling, treatment, communication, and business operations. Health information is protected under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).

How I Protect Your Information
All records are stored securely and accessible only to authorized personnel. I will never share your personal or health information with third parties without your consent, unless required by law.

Additional Details
Once you become a client, you will receive more detailed information about my confidentiality and privacy practices as part of your intake paperwork.


Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Appointments canceled after 72 hours (3 days) from booking will be charged in full.
     
  • You will receive a gift certificate for half the session time. Gift certificates are valid for one year and transferable one time.
     
  • Appointments booked less than 72 hours in advance are subject to the same cancellation policy.
     
  • You may request to reschedule at any time.
     
  • Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may require pre-payment or removal from my schedule.
     
  • Illness, family emergencies, or unsafe weather are handled with care. I will do my best to work with you.
     

Booking & Payment

  • A valid credit card on file is required at booking.
     
  • Charges are applied only according to these policies.
     
  • All payments for services are final and non-refundable.
     
  • Outcall appointments require a 50% deposit. Deposits are non-refundable if canceled after 72 hours, but may be applied to a future rescheduled session if canceled earlier.
     

Gift Certificates

  • All gift certificate purchases are final and non-refundable.
     
  • Gift certificates are valid for one year and may be transferred one time.
     
  • In the unlikely event of a refund, the $5 processing fee will not be returned.

 

Smoking Policy

  • Clients arriving smelling of cigarette or marijuana smoke will be turned away and charged in full.
     
  • No exceptions. Clients are informed of this policy before booking.


 I use professional-grade, nut-free massage products, including Bon Vital® Original Massage Lotion and Earthlite’s Ever-Glide® Massage Crème, both formulated for comfort and safety. For the facial massage portion of your session, I use USDA-certified jojoba oil. Jojoba oil is gentle, moisturizing, and soothing—great for all skin types. For people with beards, it also helps soften and condition the hair while nourishing the skin underneath.

If you have any allergies or sensitivities—especially to scents or botanical ingredients—please let me know before your session.

Aromatherapy is included with every massage, but it isn’t customizable. If you’d like to skip it, just let me know when you arrive. 



Tips are never expected, but always appreciated. The absolute best compliments you can give are rebooking your sessions, leaving a good review, or referring friends and family. 


 I accept cash, credit, and debit cards. Checks are accepted from established clients but carry a $25 return fee if a check is returned unpaid. A credit card is required to reserve your appointment.
